"Summer Fun"

 

 

You will need:

 

n    Materials "DOWNLOAD HERE".

The tubes are from Suzi Sqai en Kara.

The filters I have used are:

n Filter Unlimited HERE.
 n Filter Alien Skin-Eye-Candy 5 Impact - Perspective Shadow HERE.
 n Filter Flaming Pear - Flood HERE.

n Filter MuRa's Meister - Perspective Tiling HERE.

n Filter MuRa's Meister - Pole Transform HERE.

n Filter VM Natural - Lightburst HERE.

n Filter Distort - Shear HERE.

n Filter Graphics Plus - Cross Shadow HERE.

n Filter Ulead Particle HERE.

n Filter L&K - Trouble HERE.

n Put the preset (Lz Summer Fun 1.f1s and Lz Summer Fun 2.f1s)

      in your folder Eye Candy 5 Impact - settings - Shadow.

n Preset Flood - put in any folder where you can find it.

      (I usualy put these kind of things on my desktop)

n Selections - put in your PSP selection folder .

n Tubes, fonts - put them in any folder.

n In this lesson we are using these colors:

      Let's get started.

Pijltje. Take the arrow with you so you will know where you are.

01. Open a new transparant image 700 × 500.

02. Set your foreground to a dark color #d58d40.

03. Set your background to a light color #fae5b8.

04. Set your foreground to Gradiant.

      Style Lineair.

      With these settings:

05. Flood fill your image with this Gradiant.

06. Effects - Plugin filter - Filter Distort - Shear.

      Pull the line from the middle to the left (see below)

07. Ajust - Blur - Gaussian Blur..., set radius to 25.

08. Effects - Pluginfilter - Filter Unlimited, look for Navigator, Distortion filters and then Ink Blots.

      With these settings:

09. Effects - Plugin filter Flaming Pear - Flood...

      Click on the top button and look for Lz Summer Fun 1.q8r

      click on the preset - Open and click OK:

10. Layers - New rasterlayer.

11. Selections - Selection load/save - Load selection from disc...,

      Look for Lz Summer Fun 1 and click on load.

      With these settings:

12. Materials - Switch off the gradiant and set your foreground color to white #ffffff

13. Flood fill the small selection with white.

14. Selections - Select none.

15. Effects - Pluginfilter - MuRa's Meister - Perspective Tiling.

       With these settings:

16. Effects - Plugin filter - L and K landsiteofwonders - L and K's trouble....

       With these settings:

17. Efects - Distortion Effects - Wave.

       With these settings:

      Set the Blend mode of this layer to Dodge.

      On this same layer,

18. Selections - Load/save Selection - Load selection from disc....,

      Look for Lz Summer Fun 2 and click on load.

19. Press once on the Delete button on your keyboard.

20. Selections - Select none.

21. Effects - Edge Effects - Enchance.

22. Lagers - Merge - Merge visible.

23. Layers Duplicate.

24. Effects - Plugin filter Unlead Effects - Particle...

      Click on the Load button first - click on Cloud 1 - then OK..

       With these settings:

25. Set the Opacity of this layer to 80 percent.

26. Layers - New raster layer.

      Set your foreground color back to your dark color #d58d40.

27. Flood fill this layer with your dark color.

28. Effects - Plugin filter Graphics Plus - Cross Shadow.

      With these settings:

29. Effects - Plugin filter - MuRa's Meister - Pole Transform,

       With these settings:

30. Effects - Plugin filter - Alien Skin-Eye candy 5 impact - Perspective Shadow

      and look for the preset Lz Summer Fun 1 .

      Set the Blend mode of this layer to Burn.

      If you are using different colors you will have to

       play with the layer opacity and the blend mode.

31. Layers - New raster layer.

32. Selections - Load/save selection - Load selection from disc...,

      Look for Lz Summer Fun 3 and click Load.

33. Flood fill the selection with your dark color #d58d40.

      Set the opacity to 80 and the blend mode to Burn.

      Do not deselect.

34. Layers - New raster layer.

35. Selections - Modify - Select Selection borders.

       With these settings:

      Set your foreground to white #ffffff

      (Zoom in quite a bit) View - Zoom - Zoom in.

36. Flood fill the selection with white.

37. Selections - Select none.

      Open your tube-KaraT4067.psp.

38. Edit - Copy.

      Back to your 700 × 500 image.

39. Edit - Paste - Paste as new layer.

40. Effects - Image effects - Offset...,

       With these settings:

41. Layer Duplicate.

      Activate the layer underneath.

42. Effects - Plugin filter Flaming Pear - Flood...

      Click on the top button again, but now look for the

      preset Lz Summer Fun 2.q8r, click Open and then OK.

      Set the Opacity to 80.

      Activate your top layer again.

43. Open your SS_1578_Tube.

44. Edit - Copy.

      Back to your 700 × 500 image.

45. Edit - Paste - Paste as new layer.

46. With your Mover tool move it to the right bottom corner.

47. Effects - Pluginfilter - Alien Skin-Eye candy 5 impact - Perspective Shadow

      and look for the preset Lz Summer Fun 2 .

      Set your foreground on null and your background to your light color #fae5b8. 

48. Text tool.

      Look for the font LHFBeckerMonogramEnglish .

       With these settings:

      Type Summer Fun, or something else that you like lol.

      Move your text up (see my example).

49. Layers - Convert to raster layer.

50. Effects - 3D-effects - Drop shadow...,

      With these settings:

      Set the Blend mode of this layer to Overlay.

      If you are using different colors you must play with the

      opacity and the blend mode.

51. Layers - Merge - Merge All.

52. Image - Add borders 1 pixels with an extra dark color #874d1f.

53. Image - Add borders 3 pixels light color #fae5b8.

54. Image - Add borders 1 pixels with an extra dark color #874d1f.

55. Selections - Select All.

56. Image - Add borders 40 pixels extra dark color #874d1f.

57. Selections - Invert.

58. Effects - Plugin filter VM Natural - Lightburst...

       With these settings:

59. Selections - Invert.

60. Effects - 3D-effects - Drop shadow..,

       With these settings:

61. Repeat Effects - 3D-effects - Drop shadow but now set to -10.

62. Selections - Select none.

63. Image - Add borders 1 pixels with a extra dark color #874d1f.

      Save as JPG.

      Finished.
